Tour Information
Below is some useful information regarding tours my office can schedule and others that may be available for self-scheduling as well.

Capitol Tours
- Available Monday through Saturday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
- Tours last approximately one hour.
- Reservations become available 5 months in advance and are confirmed on a first come, first served basis.
- Our office is happy to offer staff-led tours (Monday - Friday) for groups of up to 15 individuals.

White House Tours
- Public tours are typically available from the below times except on federal holidays:
- 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM Tuesday – Thursday
- 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM Friday - Saturday
- Tours are self-guided and last approximately forty-five minutes to one hour (this includes security and check-in).
- Reservations become available 90 days in advance and are confirmed by the WH on a first come, first served basis.
- Space for such tours is extremely limited, and availability typically closes a few days after the window opens.
- Please note that congressional tour coordinators are only able to input preference dates; exact tour times may not be requested.
- The White House will send a RSVP email, and it is imperative that you respond ASAP because access will close 72 hours from the time the request is submitted.
- The RSVP email does not serve as confirmation of a scheduled tour but is only an indication that the tour reservation has been requested.
- Tour confirmation and denial notifications will be sent at a later date.
- *Denials are based on whether or not visitors pass the Secret Service background check. The White House also has discretion to cancel scheduled tours if there is a scheduling conflict.

Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP)
- BEP offers Congressional tours on a first come-first served basis, Monday through Friday at the times below.
- Year-round: 8:15 AM and 8:45 AM
- Late March - Labor Day: 8:15 AM, 8:45 AM, 3:00 PM, 3:15 PM, 3:30 PM, and 3:45 PM
- Member offices may reserve tours up to six (6) months in advance of tour date.
- BEP is closed on weekends, Federal holidays, and the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
FBI Experience Tours
- Available Monday through Friday at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM.
- Tours last approximately one hour.
- Reservations become available 5 months in advance and must be scheduled no later than 4 weeks out.

- We are able to assist you in scheduling these tours, please let us know if this is something you are interested in. I will note, however, that these are booked up very quickly.
- For scheduling a FBI Experience tour, I will need the below information for each guest:
- First, middle, and last name
- Suffix (if applicable)
- Maiden name (if applicable)
- Birthdate
- Social Security Number
- Additional information may be required if a visitor is not a US citizen
U.S. Department of the Treasury Tours
- Typically only available the first and third Saturday of each month (except some holiday weekends) at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM for groups of up to 15 individuals.
- Tours last approximately one hour.
- The clearance process is the same as getting a White House tour - you will be emailed a RSVP form to complete.

Supreme Court (self-scheduled)
- Open to the public Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Closed on weekends and all federal holidays.
- Visitors should be aware that the business of the Court may affect public access to the building and visitor programs.

Library of Congress (self-scheduled)
- Open for tours via timed entry passes.

Smithsonian Museums (self-scheduled)

Pentagon (self-scheduled)
- Free guided Tours are available Monday- Friday 10:00 AM to 4:00PM
- Tours last approximately 1 hour and cover 1.5 miles of walking.
- Tours are available to book up to 90 days prior but must be booked at least 14 days before your visit.
- Once you get to the pentagon, all adult visitors must pass a security check, and present a valid photo ID.

Arlington National Cemetery (self-scheduled)
- Arlington is open 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Guided tours are available at the welcome center from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Tomb of the Unknown Soldier guard schedule
- October 1st to March 31st the guard is changed every hour on the hour.
- April 1st to September 30th the guard is changed every half hour.
- Anyone entering the cemetery in a vehicle (driver and passengers) must be able to present a REAL ID at the security gate.
- Arlington is closed on December 12th and January 9th and operates on special hours on Memorial Day and Veterans' Day.

Marine Corps Barracks (self- scheduled)
- You can schedule a visit to watch a sunset barracks parade which run from May – August occurring on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 8:45 PM.
- Tuesday Sunset Parade Dates:

- July 14th ,21st ,28th
- August 4th,11th
- Friday Sunset Parade Dates:
- May 1st, 8th,15th, 22nd, 29th
- June 5th,12th, 19th,26th
- July 10th,17th,24th,31st
- August 7th,14th,21st, 28th
- Admission to this event is free, but reservations are required. It is recommended that you reserve tickets 60-90 days before, since these events fill up fast.
- All guests over 16 must present a valid ID, and bags are subjected to be searched.

National Archives (self-scheduled)
- Both guided and self-guided tours are available from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM every day.
- Admission is free but it is recommended to reserve a general admission ticket before you arrive.

Washington Monument (self-scheduled)
- The monument is open daily from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, tickets are released 30 days in advance at 10:00 AM.
- 24-Hour Advance Tickets are available at 3pm the day prior as well, though this ticket availability is limited.
- Same-day tickets are available at the lodge at 8:45 AM.
