Lexington, KY— U.S. Congressman Andy Barr (KY-06) congratulates Rubicon for the company’s announcement that their global headquarters will be based at City Center in Lexington.  Rubicon is a global software platform that provides smart waste streamlining and recycling solutions to businesses and governments worldwide.  The company was founded by Kentucky native Nate Morris in 2008.  Rubicon has over 350 employees with 4.9 million service locations in 20 countries. 

“Nate Morris founded and built Rubicon, a fast-growing company with global reach and impact, but has never forgotten his roots here in Kentucky.  Nate and I have been friends for years and I have always admired his energy, intellect, and entrepreneurial spirit, as well as his drive to make a difference and give back to his community,” said Congressman Barr.  “Lexington is thrilled that Rubicon will be expanding its presence here with a new global headquarters at City Center.”

According to a press release from Rubicon on the announcement, Rubicon’s new global headquarters enables the company to build on its notable strategic partnerships with esteemed institutions such as the University of Kentucky, the Gatton School of Business, the Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame, and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
