Berea, KY — On Friday, November 10th, 2023, U.S. Congressman Andy Barr (KY-06) presented $350,000 in funding from the Fiscal Year 2023 Community Project Funding process to Saint Joseph Berea Hospital. This funding will be used to purchase a cardiac focused nuclear medicine camera with multiple components of advanced technology. It will improve heart care in Berea and surrounding communities and the advanced technology will provide patients with high-quality cardiac imaging while keeping radiation as low as practical, leading to appropriate medical interventions and treatment at Saint Joseph Berea Hospital.
