Lexington, Ky – Representative Andy Barr (R-KY) has announced that he will be hosting a second Teletown Hall event on Monday, March 23 from 6:15-7:15 p.m. with constituents to update them on the federal response to COVID-19. Joining Rep. Barr on the call will be Dr. Mark Dougherty, Hospital Epidemiologist at Central Baptist Hospital since 1988 who is an infectious disease specialist.
Any resident of Kentucky’s Sixth Congressional District can dial 877-229-8493 and use pin 110108 to access the call. You can also access this call via live stream here and Rep. Barr’s office will be sharing the link for live streaming on Facebook and Twitter.
Congressman Barr and Dr. Dougherty will give opening remarks and then spend the rest of the time taking questions from callers. Rep. Barr will also be asking questions to Dr. Dougherty throughout the call to provide callers with as much medical advice as possible to protect themselves and their families from contracting the virus.
This is the second Teletown Hall that Congressman Barr has hosted this month on COVID-19. He previously hosted a Teletown Hall on Wednesday, March 11 with Dr. Charles Kennedy, Hospital Epidemiologist at St. Joseph Hospital.
