WASHINGTON – As an original cosponsor of H.R. 30, the Save American Workers Act, Congressman Andy Barr released the following statement upon its passage:
"Obamacare is hurting American workers and burying businesses in red tape,” said Barr. "That’s why today, I was glad to support legislation that will protect Kentucky workers’ paychecks by repealing Obamacare’s 30-hour workweek definition and reinstating the traditional 40-hour workweek. At a time when Americans are struggling, we must do everything we can to empower job-creators and promote real solutions like the Save American Workers Act that will grow our economy and get Kentuckians working again.
