Lexington - To better serve the people of central and eastern Kentucky, Congressman Andy Barr’s staff conducts traveling office hours in every county of the Sixth Congressional District each month. A member of Congressman Barr’s staff will be holding traveling office hours in Nicholas, Fayette, Fleming, Robertson, Clark, Montgomery, Bath, Franklin and Scott Counties next week. Note – Franklin and Scott Counties office hours are rescheduled from July 4th and will return to the regularly scheduled first Thursday meeting time in August .
This is a responsible, inexpensive way for constituents to voice their opinion on legislative issues or seek assistance with federal agencies. During these office hours, Congressman Barr’s staff will be available to provide assistance to constituents on a variety of services and issues, including Medicare, Veterans Affairs, Social Security, Internal Revenue Service issues, and matters regarding federal legislation.
