LEXINGTON, Ky. – Congressman Andy Barr today announced new mobile office hours for the Sixth District’s 19 counties, effective Nov. 1. Mobile office hours offer constituents the opportunity to meet with a member of Congressman Barr’s staff in person at a location in the constituent’s home county.

“One of the cornerstones of my service, and something in which I take great pride, is my accessibility initiative,” said Congressman Barr. “Mobile office hours provide constituents in the Sixth District the opportunity to meet with a member of my staff in person in their own home county to discuss issues they are having with a federal agency.”

During mobile office hours, Congressman Barr’s staff can assist constituents with federal agency issues including:

• Social Security disability benefits

• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

• Medicare benefits

• Expedited passport requests

• IRS issues

• U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

• Veterans compensation claims, military records, service issues and medals
