Barr is one of 23 House Members who received NumbersUSA’s highest grade for championing stronger border security legislation. During this first session of the 119th Congress, Congressman Barr voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which allocated $170B to secure the border. He also introduced a constitutional amendment to prohibit the children of illegal immigrants from obtaining birthright citizenship. Recently, Barr and Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) introduced a bill to crack down on liberal states giving illegal immigrants commercial driver’s licenses that have led to the deaths of Americans in recent months.
