Barr: President’s Failure to Meet Budget Deadline Shows “Reckless Disregard for Responsible Government”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Commenting today on President Obama’s failure to deliver his budget requests to Congress by the date required by law for the fourth time in five years, U.S. Rep. Andy Barr issued the following statement:

“Regrettably, President Obama once again failed to comply with the law and deliver his budget requests on time.  At a time when Kentucky families are struggling to stretch every dime, the President refuses to give the slightest attention to ending Washington’s spending spree, which my constituents continue to tell me is their number one concern.
