Tour Information

Below is some useful information regarding how my office can assist with planning your upcoming trip to DC.

Capitol tours are typically available Monday through Saturday 9AM – 4:30PM. Tours last approximately one hour. Reservations become available 5 months in advance and are confirmed on a first come, first served basis. My office is happy to offer staff-led tours (Monday - Friday) for groups of up to 15 individuals.

White House tours are typically available Tuesday through Saturday 9:30AM – 12:30PM. Tours are self-guided and last approximately forty-five minutes to one hour. Reservations become available 90 days in advance and are confirmed by the WH on a first come, first served basis. Space for such tours is extremely limited, and availability typically closes a few days after the window opens. Please note that congressional tour coordinators are only able to input preference dates; exact tour times may not be requested. The White House will send a RSVP email, and it is imperative that you respond ASAP because access will close one week from the time the request is submitted. The RSVP email does not serve as confirmation of a scheduled tour but is only an indication that the tour reservation has been requested. Tour confirmation and denial notifications are emailed 2 weeks prior to the requested date. *Denials are based solely on the volume of White House tour request and maximum capacity.

FBI Experience tours are typically available Monday through Friday at 9:00AM, 10:00AM, 1:00PM, and 2:00PM. Tours last approximately one hour. Reservations become available 5 months in advance and must be scheduled no later than 4 weeks out.

  • To schedule, the following information for each individual is required: name (as listed on drivers license/birth certificate), birthdate, SSN (not required for individuals under 16 years of age), country of birth, country of citizenship/green card number/passport number.
  • For your situational awareness as to why this information is required, the privacy notice from the FBI is copied below:

U.S. Department of the Treasury tours are typically available every other Saturday of the month (except some holiday weekends) at 9:00AM and 10:30AM for groups of up to 15 individuals. Tours last approximately one hour. The clearance process is the same as getting a White House tour - you will be emailed a RSVP form to complete.

The Supreme Court Building is open to the public Monday - Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. It is closed on weekends and all federal holidays. Visitors should be aware that the business of the Court may affect public access to the building and visitor programs. You can find more information at supremecourt.gov/visiting

The Library of Congress is open for tours via timed entry passes. You can self-schedule at loc.gov/visit.
