Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Addresses Congress

On Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, addressed a joint session of the United States Congress to provide an update regarding the ongoing war in Israel and to solidify the relationship between the U.S. and Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu and House Speaker Mike Johnson renewed their pleas to release all hostages held by Hamas - including eight American citizens. I joined BBC to discuss. Grateful for the opportunity to welcome ONE Lexington to my Washington, DC office. Since 2017, they've coordinated efforts to reduce gun violence among Lexington's youth and young adults. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe!

National Intern Day

On Thursday, we celebrated our summer 2024 interns and their dedicated service on behalf of Kentucky's Sixth Congressional District. My staff and I are grateful for the hard work our interns provide in both our Washington, DC and Lexington, KY offices. 

Community Against Drugs Dealers Rally

Last week, I joined my constituents and the Brightlight Foundation in Madison County to rally together in the fight against fentanyl and drug dealers. Our Commonwealth has been hit hard by the opioid epidemic, as we have the fifth highest overdose mortality rate in the nation. It is critical that Congress do more to combat this crisis.
