“Today, I voted for the Stop Government Abuse Act because it is an important piece of legislation in the fight to protect our freedoms from a constantly expanding federal government.  Kentuckians want a strong economy and a brighter future, and this bill to stop government abuse and hold unelected bureaucrats accountable lays the groundwork for new jobs, more freedom, and expanded opportunity.”

Specifically, H.R. 2879, the Stop Government Abuse Act will stop federal employees from collecting excessive bonuses, allows for senior employees under investigation to be put on unpaid rather than paid leave, and gives citizens the lawful right to record their interactions with Executive Agency employees.
